About the company

Even though the Company was build at its present location between the years 1970-1980 as a manufacturing and repair facility of the Czechoslovak national utilities, our history reaches all the way back to the 1920s.

New chapter in our history started after the privatization of the company in 1992 when it became a stock company with SANBORN INTERNATIONAL BV as a majority stockholder.  From 1992, most of the production machinery was modernized, new equipment was added and new production methods were introduced.   Company’s customer base also changed. From total reliance and dependence on domestic customers SANBORN managed to transform itself into an international supplier of parts and services. Today, well over 50% of our products are exported to western Europe and North America. SANBORN continues to invest in to new technologies, training, and quality controls as well as in to additional production hall (2004-5) and shipping department building (2003) to support and accommodate this unprecedented growth.
